Calling all Christmas Angels; give a little this festive season

With only eleven shopping days (that’s twelve sleeps!) until Christmas, the chances are you’ve bought the vast majority of your gifts already. However, if you’ve yet to find that perfect present, or would like to make all the difference to a special couple this festive season, become a Christmas star and consider making a donation to the Wedding Wishing Well Foundation.

The Foundation works tirelessly throughout the year to ensure that couples affected by terminal and life-limiting illnesses are able to enjoy the wedding day of their dreams. Helping to overcome the financial burden of illness, while aiming to take away the strain of organising a wedding, the Foundation relies on the generosity of its suppliers, fundraisers, and those who make donations – either on a one-off basis, or via direct debit.

Your donation could buy a wedding cake for one of the Foundation’s couples, cover their transport to and from their venue, or even be used against the cost of a caterer; there is no better gift than that of a smile and your donations, and those made in honour of your loved ones, will make all the difference to the couples we aim to help.

Donate your Dress

Did you get married in 2013? Congratulations! We hope you had an absolutely fantastic day, full of lots of happy memories. If you now find yourself with a wedding dress, shoes, jewellery, suits, or bridesmaids outfits that are simply gathering dust in your wardrobe, why not gift them to The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation? Your item could play an important part in another wedding, helping to create wonderful memories for a very special couple.

To donate your dress, suit, shoes, or accessories, please pop into your local branch of Johnson’s Cleaners; they will be happy to pass it on to us.
